Dawn has always thrived on being physically active. However, after several injuries and chronic pain, she was introduced to Pilates as a therapy exercise. In awe of what a difference it was making on her body, she realized that running and hiking alone wasn’t enough for her overall physical fitness levels. It was contributing to poor posture, tightness in the hips, knee pain, and lack of mobility.
When the opportunity came along to become an instructor, she knew this would be her calling. At the young age of 52, Dawn completed the (BASI) Body Arts and Science International Comprehensive Teacher Training in November 2016. She now believes that there is no perfect body, but that Pilates is perfect for every body.
Dawn is available for private and semi-privates sessions. You can find her on the schedule teaching Reformer and Mat Pilates.
